W@W! is committed to going back to basics in 2011. The Basics of Networking, that is.
We are reiterating our focus to provide networking opportunities for businesswomen in the Lowcountry. Our 2011 resolution is to grow and prosper through our association and commitment to each other. All of our activities and events this year are focused around providing information, leads and business opportunities to and for each other.
We believe that professional networking is the most effective way to build a business. The way we do it at W@W! is to provide a venue, an opportunity to mix socially. We actively encourage our members to learn about each other. We believe the more you know, the more comfortable you will feel about referring a W@W! colleague to persons you meet in your professional and social sphere. The best referral or lead is from someone who knows you and knows your business.
So in 2011, we actively encourage every member to spend time with another member you do not know well for the express purpose of expanding your horizons. In addition to having a fun time, you have the opportunity to grow your portfolio of business contacts.
